Venus Fly Trap

The inspiration for this 3D model was to combine the natural design of the classic plant with the menacing nature of the sharp toothed mimic chests from Dark Souls. The addition of a tongue was to provide a more characterised and intimidating presence whilst also ‘disguising’ as something ordinary, like the classic venus fly trap just scaled enough to be more frightening but also being restrained to its plant pot.
