More model informationI made this vial in Maya using a NURBS outline on a reference image for the glass. I turned this into a poly and made a simple cylinder cork for the top. To make the liquid inside, I duplicated the glass poly and used the inside skin of the vial as a template. I obviously had to reverse the side the texture appeared and finish up by bridging the top. For texturing, I took this model into Substance Painter to work out how to use opacity for 2 overlapping materials and applying different reflective properties to those materials.
