The 191 ft wooden bulk freighter Vienna was built in 1873 in Cleveland by the Quayle and Martin Company. It was propelled by a single cylinder steam engine and was hauling iron ore at the time of the last voyage. In 1892 it was in a collision with the propeller Nipigon off Whitefish Point. It had the barge Mattie C. Bell in tow at the time. The Nipigon tried to tow the Vienna to safety, but the Vienna sank in deep water, but all of the crew survived. Now it is the most popular dive site in the Whitefish Point Underwater Preserve. Since it is only a mile offshore it can be dived when it is too rough to dive other preserve wrecks. The model was created from 6,898 30-megapixel images shot by Andrew Goodman on four DPV dives in the 2024 season.
