More model informationFigure of Vindobona as a fountain figure of the Siebenbrunnen in the 5th district of Vienna. The fountain was unveiled in 1904 to commemorate the court water conduit that supplied the Vienna Hofburg with water in 1562 by order of King Ferdinand I. The stone fountain has seven water outlets, above which the coats of arms of the former suburbs and current district parts of Margareten can be seen. Above it is enthroned the figure of Vindobona, whose pedestal is inscribed with dedications and bears a relief portrait of Karl Lueger in the center.
