Visigoth tomb 5, Villamayor de Calatrava3D Model
Visigoth tomb (6th-7th centuries AD) from the archaeological site of Las Viñuelas, Villamayor de Calatrava, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. This tomb, in which two skeletons have been located, has been discovered and excavated in 2022 under the direction of Víctor Manuel López-Menchero, Javier Romero, Miguel Ángel Hervás, Germán Esteban and Mar Zarzalejos. The tomb is part of a much larger medieval cemetery discovered in 1968 in which the latest research has identified 14 tombs.
Research project promoted by the Villamayor de Calatrava City Council and financed with European funds.
