Since the first commercial VR headset has been introduced in late 19th century, there have been a lot of developments when it comes to virtual reality. Virtual Reality as first seen as inaccessible to the public because of high prices. Now, years later, headsets are more affordable and user-friendly then ever before. The VR-glasses showcased in this model are very user-friendly, enabling users to experience virtual reality through their phones. A smartphone can be inserted in the device, creating a 3D effect similar to that of a 3D movie in a cinema. It is compatible with both Android smartphones and IOS smartphones.
In this three-dimensional model, the 2nd generation ‘VR-box’ is showcased. The VR-glasses are fully made of plastic, including headstraps that are easy to adjust for more comfort. The model has been developed by using photogrammetry as a method. The software Agisoft Metashape has been used to develop the three-dimensional model.
