More model informationA complete, worn copper alloy square coin weight of late Medieval to early post Medieval date (c. AD 1454-1658). The coin weight is for a Lion and made in Antwerp.
Obverse description: Lion seated left with its tail curled up over its haunches, flanked by pillars with three arches above and a floor below, all within a beaded circle.
Reverse description: A building of some kind at the top with the Hand of Antwerp below it and flanked by ‘C’ on the left and ‘G’ on the right. All within a double border.
