More model informationThe 72 ft Canadian tug W.E. Gladstone was launched in Collingwood, ON as the Ann Long in 1881. It was renamed the W,E, Gladstone in 1900 and played a key role in recovering the bodies of the victims from the wreck of the Asia in Georgian Bay in September 1882. The tug broke up on the rocks inside Lions Head harbor in a storm on November 23, 1908. (from Cris Kohl’s research). The model was created from1,587 30-megapixel and 4k GoPro frame grabs shot by Kayla Martin and Ken Merryman with support from Durrell Martin and Cris Kohl in Lions Harbor in the 2023 season.
