This rock was digitalized using photogrammetry software. Tools used include Reality Scan 2.0, Zbrush, Blender, and Substance Painter.

I started with taking photographs of a real rock in a professional photography setting. A total of 164 photos were fed into Reality Scan to transform the photos into a high poly mesh. The high poly was brought into Zbrush to be remeshed into a workable low poly model. The low poly was unwrapped and adjusted in Blender, then brought into Substance painter to bake texture data from the high poly to the low poly model. Adjustments were made to the final textures to more closely match the rock with its real world counterpart.
