Area of exposed outcrop towards the eastern end of Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland.
This panel is referenced ‘Weetwood Moor 2e’ on the Beckensall Archive and was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. NADRAP Team 1, who recorded the stone, describes: “Motifs include one cup with arc and one cup with two partial squared off ‘rings’. The top part of the latter motif appears to have been flaked off. Cups are quite deep and regular. Regular grooves end in chiselled edges.”
