Area of exposed outcrop towards the eastern end of Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland.
One of over two dozen carvings clustered together on Weetwood Moor. This area of exposure is referenced ‘Weetwood Moor 3b’ on the Beckensall Archive and consists of a cup and ring and a partial ring, all set within natural catenary ripple marks. Other markings such as a groove and two further arcs may also be present, but the nature of the erosion makes it difficult to be certain.
Added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008.
