Boulder on private land near Whitton Burn, south of Rothbury, Northumberland.
This carving sits within a cairn and is referenced on the Beckensall Archive (BA) as ‘Whitton Burn 1a’. It was subsequently added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The BA initially described:
“The panel has three deep cups, or basins, and nine smaller ones.”
Whilst the later NADRAP survey picked up additional cups, this model appears to show even more and also a possible groove enclosing the cluster. The latter is best seen with Matcap enabled.

The model was created from 5 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson of NADRAP Team 3 in January 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England & Northumberland County Council.
