An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill style brooch, of Roman dating (AD 60 to AD 120).

Around 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of a partial bow, one complete wing and one incomplete. The rest is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

The wings are cylindrical with a slot for the pin (now missing). No wing caps are present. The wings have been decorated with a double vertical groove. The bow is humped, and tapers to a blunt point. The bow has been decorated with a central vertical groove.
