Wmid-54f85d - Post Medieval Spoon3D Model
An incomplete lead or tin alloy (pewter) spoon of Post Medieval to Modern dating (c. AD 1750 - c. AD 1900).
Approximately 40% of the spoon remains consisting of part of the bowl and part of the handle.
Around 25% of the bowl is present and the angles at the shoulder are suggestive of a fig shaped bowl. No maker’s mark appears to be present. The bowl appears to have been flattened, probably as a result of time within the plough soil. There are incised scratches on the surface of the bowl however it is unclear whether this is decoration or post depositional damage. The handle consists of a flattened D shape, with flat surfaces to the front and reverse, with bevelled edges.
