Just finished retopology of my first Zbrushcore sculpt of a full dragon [retopologized in Maya 2017]. After sculpting the head in Zbrushcore, I decided to finish off the entire body (also in Zbrushcore). The sculpt came out to around 1.236 mil faces. After retopology there are a total of 11.2 k faces. That is a 91% reduction of total faces. the time is took to retopologize the entire body rounds up to about 15 hours total. The entire sculpting process was about 6-7 hours. Alot of work for a 3D model… And the best part. I’m only half done.... Once I get the wing webbing modeled I will be working on texturing… then rigging!
