The Xen Grass is a species of grass which resides in all biomes of xen, usually hidden in puffball grass like ferns. The Xen Grass is named so becsuse it was some of the first grass seen in xen in the first expeditions, on islands which were unusually absent of puffball grass. The xen grass grows much differently in puffball grass in the fact that istead of growing actual grass, it grows a mass of tendrils, which both serve as leaves and also seed pods, whixh when eaten, grow quickly out of the excreta of animals that have eaten the seeds.

This model was apparently unused, as i cant find it in game. Or it could just be how its much harder to find. Its actually the model for the Earth Desert Grass with more vibrant colors, which probablt means it was made pretty early in development.
