Shaft of a free-standing cross from St Regulus’ Church, Monifieth, found in the kirkyard wall in 1928. One of several Pictish and medieval stones from Monifieth, this shaft bears the long legs of a tunic-wearing figure presumed to be Christ, with an unidentifiable figure to either side. The opposite face bears heavily worn ornament, likely interlace. One of the narrow sides has what appears to be an ogham inscription, but no longer legible.
