More model information

Our Yamaha Vino from 2002. Scanned with a Matter and Form THREE Currently in Alpha.

This is a VERY advanced scanning process. Scan time was 1 1/2 hours. Total number of scans was approx. 160 The Post Processing was longer than 8 hours. The long processing times were due to the alpha release of the software not continaing automation in the alignment flows.

How I captured it: Using the farthest setting, I captured a rough scan of the entire scooter. Then I capturered close up details that overlap well with the rough scan. Then for processing, I aligned the rough scan first in one group. Then the detailed scans were aligned to the rough scan and put in a seperate group. When the alignment was done, I deleted the rough scan, and did some cleanup.

Meshing was done in Meshlab due to alpha software. Chrome and glass surfaces were sprayed with Aesub scanning spray (you could also dust it with talc)
