Yamna culture vessel, 3300–2600 BCE, knum003_333D Model
A hand made vessel of Late Copper Age / Early Bronze Age Yamna culture (3300 –2600 BCE). Object originates from the rescue field works in Eastern Ukraine, that were provided during the second half of the 20th century. The find comes from the construction zone of the Stanichno-Luhansk irrigation system in the Stanichno-Luhansk (now Luhansk) district of the Luhansk region at a distance of 0.82 km north of the village Pankivka, in the paired burial of infants of Yamna culture №10, mound №10.
Artifact belongs to the Archaeological Museum of Taras Shevchenko exhibition at the National University of Kyiv collection. The model was created as part of the project “Under the Shelling: Digital 3D Protection of the Ukrainian Bronze Age”. This project was supported by the scholarship at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI). The estimated metric accuracy of the model is 1-2 mm.
