Cars & vehicles Zaporozhets (Zaporozhets, Ukrainian export labels for the countries of Western Europe - Jalta, Eliette and ZAZ) is a brand of Soviet and Ukrainian rear-engine passenger cars of a very small class manufactured by the Kommunar plant in Zaporozhye (later Zaporozhye Automobile Plant, in 1960-1994 was part of the production association “AvtoZAZ”).

In 1960-1969 - the first generation, ZAZ-965 and from 1962 - ZAZ-965A; In 1966-1994 - the second generation, ZAZ-966, ZAZ-966V, ZAZ-968, ZAZ-968A and ZAZ-968M. All cars “Zaporozhets” had a number of characteristic features of the design: a rear-engine arrangement with the longitudinal arrangement of the console-hung engine behind the rear axle and the gearbox within the wheelbase; body type “two-door sedan”
