MA Art in Science student developed a SciArt project aimed at educating key stage 3 year 7 students about stem cells through the use of art practices. They will have developed and gained knowledge about stem cells as well as developed their artistic skills in clay work, obervational drawing, watercolours, evaluating and communication/discussion skills. These 3D models are scans of the clay sculptures the students have made and are painted through colour symbolism of which colours they perceived to visually represent the role/function that structures had within the cell.
