Fossil hominid skull casts and replicas used in bioanthropology courses and teaching at the University of South Florida have been digitized using structured light 3D scanning to allow for interactive study and examination, including applications with VR and using Augmented Reality with the Sketchfab mobile application. All models are optimized and scaled for mixed reality viewing.
