The South Champlain Archaeological Digitization Survey (SCADS) Project is documenting private collections of Precontact and Colonial Period artifacts from the southern portion of the Lake Champlain Basin. The goal of the project is to create an artifact database that can supplement other local sources of information. Artifacts presented here were 3D scanned by students, faculty, and volunteers at Castleton University. The SCADS Project was established with support from the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership, the Vermont Community Foundation's South Lake Champlain Fund, Castleton University, private donors, and others. All artifacts published with permission.
