EDIT : this collection was created way before the noAI tag, that can be applied retroactively... I don't have the energy to comb through the 2400+ models to remove the noAI ones... I'll just leave it there, as is... If a "remove all noAI models" button is ever added by the Sketchfab team, I'll use it.

A collection of models that could be used as a dataset to train a super-resolution algorithm.

The idea behind using 3D models instead of photos would be to provide a lot of screenshots of the same models, from almost every possible angles, in the training phase of a learning algorithm (ANNs etc), hoping it would develop some kind of understanding of 3D.

This is why those models were selected specifically, as they are suitable even when looked at from odd angles (no fuzzy, blurry or low-resolution parts).

Some models are here purely because they would be challenging for such algorithm, others are more "traditional".
