I've started setting up AR scavenger hunts for my kids: load an AR model from Sketchfab on your phone, hide it somewhere in the room, and give them the phone to find it. They love it!

Load a model, scroll to 'Download 3D Model', then select 'USDZ' to show it in AR on your iPhone.
