The specimen I chose from the Deep Time Exhibit at the National Museum of Natural History was a penguin, scientifically in the genus Spheniscus. This particular penguin lived 5-7 million years ago, which really made me think about how old and unique these birds truly are! I wanted to see what else was out there in terms of penguin fossils and bones. There are many species within the penguin family, located all over the world, spanning millions of years of earth's history. So please enjoy a wide range of 3D penguin models!
