I decided to make a collection of sea fossils to demonstrate the stark differences but also plentiful similarities of species that reside in the water. Perhaps some of the reason why species look so unchanged is due to the fact that sea water and sea environments were insulated from atmospheric and land based extinction events.

The reptilian shark fossil is quite interesting because it resembles a hybrid mix between a crocodile and a shark as we know today. The crocodile fossil looks identical to modern day crocodiles as well.

The fossils of marine life model showcases five different marine models and provide insight into food, ecosystem, and predation as well.
