More model informationKerbstone 41 is a decorated stone dating from the Neolithic, located on the outer edge of the largest megalithic tomb at Knowth, Co. Meath, Ireland (ME019-030001-). It is made of greywacke and decorated with motifs “pecked” into the surface using a sharp implement, possibly flint or quartz. These motifs include horizontal zigzags, lozenges, chevrons, circles, arcs, spirals and a range of short, angular lines. A row of four U-motifs that run along the top edge of the stone may originally have formed a serpentiform.
