More model informationProcessed lidar DTM of part of the Brú na Bóinne World Heritage Site, County Meath showing the sites of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth amongst the many other archaeological earthworks in the area. The Discovery Programme always seem to lean towards straigtforward hillshaded DTMs. Impressive though they often are (and impressive though their eye for slight detail can be), I think a bit of negative openness is more expressive and helps emphasise the slighter features.
