More model informationRosewood Railway Station is currently listed on the Queensland Rail Heritage Register. The station complex consists of two passenger platforms, built in 1880 and 1916 respectively, and a footbridge. The main passenger platform is now rare amongst existing railway buildings, constructed of pre-cast concrete, revolutionary in its time, but with decorative features typical of earlier timber platform buildings. A model of the railway station and part of the context of Rosewood town was created to examine the view corridors surrounding the station and potential view shadows within which development could have less impact on the experience of the historic station.
