I have decided to try to try to make an experiment in the sketchfab comunity, I uploaded this steampunk airship thing, and I dare you to download this model and add whatever you want to the scene, and then publish it on your account, then ask the people to add something to the version you uploaded and so on… lets see how it goes :D
I hope someone follows it
RULES: -Add the tag multiverseproject
-The models can be done with any software and uploaded in any format

what I have so far :D
I downloaded, the idea is excellent, once finished I put it on my account?
I've just featured this idea on BlenderNation:

I hope it'll get you extra participants!
I've added my entry, (https://sketchfab.com/models/30007b6f8ad542aa8fd22208e50bebfb) I probably broke about 99% of the rules but nonetheless I loved this idea and wish it had more attention. I added a few parts to give it more of a fighter warship kinda look. I also textured and relighted it. Thanks pinguinoconpulga!
Would love to give this a try :)
@Bart will keep that in mind :)
Cool. How about you add an OBJ file to your download as well? Just create a subfolder in your upload and place it there. It won't be used for the viewer, but people can download and use it.
I mentioned the Markdown just to make the description a little prettier. The easiest way to do it is to use the layout tools in the description editor.
@Bart well in the .blend thing... you are right I will erase that point but I am a bit confused with the mark down. Thank you very much : D
Wow, what a fantastic initiative! I'd love to help you make this a big 'thing' in our community. I have two suggestions for improvement:
1. I feel it might be better to not require .blend files to allow users of all 3D applications to participate. I understand that this might influence the lighting, is that an essential part of the project?
2. You could clean up the description a bit with MarkDown:

What do you think?
