The bell is located in front of the St. Joseph’s Chapel in Yim Tin Tsai which is a small Hakka village in Hong Kong. The bell is used during mass. Visitors are not allow to touch it and the villagers will toll.

This is a collaborative experiment we did, testing the burst mode on her iphone. i processes the burst images in Agisoft. At high camera alignment, high dense cloud and high mesh build with a 3k map. smaller detail like the “Domus dei roma” and “2004” can be resolve in geometry in around 45 mins on a laptop.
we hope this prove the potential of smartphone scanning in a urban setting!!
