More model informationCorbel 43 is located in the largest megalithic tomb (Tomb 1 West) at Knowth, County Meath, Ireland (ME019-030001-). It is set over the low chamber backstone (Orthostat 43), and forms the back wall of the chamber. It has dispersed pickmarks over most of the main surface, but the picking does not extend beyond the orthostats and corbels on each side, suggesting that it was done after the corbels were put in place.
