Raw itSeez3D scan from latest update v. 2.1.1.
Here is the latest using itSeez3D version 2.1.1, along with the Structure sensor, NEODiMOUNT “bare essentials” and NEODiBRIGHT LED light bar and the RGB 4eyes lens, and 4eyes lens collar with NEODiBRIGHT mount.
It appears texturing is wrapped more consistently, however without a lot of diffused lighting, the iPad Air 2 camera suffers from chromatic noise, marring the the texture. Not knowing their RGB camera algorithms, I am assuming they are locking the frame-rate to a higher value to prevent blurring, which requires a higher ISO and introducing noise. I will have to verify this later with a color chart and white panel with a light meter to determine the most effective light level. However, I believe the camera in iPhone 6 or 6+ has a better sensor which reduces the noise in normal light conditions. Here is hopes that we will see a version of itSeez3D supporting them soon.
One other note: I feel that itSeez needs to at least double the number of faces (polygons) to 100K, to minimize mesh distortion.
