More model informationSheela-na-Gig3d was supported by the Heritage Council of Ireland Two Sheela’s are located on the gable end of a shed in the townland of Screeg (Athlone N. By.) . This larger Sheela to the right of the building is carved on a wedge shaped stone, which may have come from above a doorway. This Sheela is more defined than her counterpart with an oval head, with large ears, eyes, nose and mouth with her tongue sticking out. This is similar to the Cloghan Sheela (See Below - Not recorded as it is currently covered with Ivy {June 2017} Her head is damaged to the right, and she has a slender body, with her hands over the waits, holding the vulva.
