Arthur’s Stone near Dorstone, Herefordshire, United Kingdom.
A Neolithic Burial chamber and entrance passageway that would have once been covered by a long mound. This type of monument was built to bury the dead over 5000 years ago. The capstone although now broken would have weighed 25 tons, it is upto 5.7 metres long by 3.7 metres wide and 0.6metres thick.
The model was produced from 1242 handheld photographs. The camera was a Canon Powershot G15 runiing an intervalometer script under CHDK. The script allows automatic focusing and taking photos at a rate of 18-24 photos a minute, exposure was manually set and adjusted where needed to get detail in darker areas.
