This Exhibitionist Figure from Co. Tipperary is currently in an OPW store in Co. Offlay (OF005-004004-). Carved on an octagonal stone, it may have come from a doorway or pillar from Burgesbeg Church in Co. Tipperary. The Sheela has a large oval head. The eyes are large bulging circles, the nose is a long rectangular shape. The mouth is smiling and the lips enlarged. The chin is round and over the neck which is short. The body is slender, ribs to the side. Breasts are faint, the left may be seen under good lighting. . The left hand to extended and bent upwards at the elbow to a large open hand palm forward. The left arm is extended and bent at the elbow downwards. The hand is on the hop. The legs turn to the right and feet also point right. The genital area is small, a bump to the front is over a circular hole which may be the anus or vulva.
