More model informationThis prehistoric carved rock, which is reference Rivock 21 on Englands Rock Art database and IAG65 in the 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’ can be found within the Rivock plantation towards the south west edge of Rombalds Moor (West Yorkshire, England) Prior to April 2012 the carving had been hidden within the managed pine plantation for 40 years. In March 2012 the CSI Rombalds Moor Project recorded the stone using the England’s Rock Art methodology both pre and post harvesting. Two models from these recording sessions have been incorporated here, showing the carving just over a year apart. Unfortunately, some damage occurred during the harvesting.
