This is an outlier in the Maynooth Ecclesiology Collection. Little is known about the object’s origins, or how it came to be in the Museum. It is said to have been brought back by a priest from his travels at some point. The inscription is suspected to be cuneiform writing. it resembles a Ushabti, funary statuettes popular in ancient Egypt.
