More model informationThis model is of a wrecked boat recently uncovered by storm and tidal action on South Boisdale beach. It appears to have iron gunwales and may have had a deck covering too, although the boat is burried almost completely. It is some 10m in length and about 3 metres width with symetricval bow and stern. There are some copper nails still visible in the planking suggestive of a clinker construction. It dates from July 1940 and is reported to be a lifeboat from the Arandoro Star.
