More model informationA very substancial mystery structure is emerging in Trench T on the Ness of Brodgar, Orkney. Although heavily robbed of stone in the Neolithic, the building had thick walls lined with stone slabs up to 4m long. The interior of the building is square or rectangular and measures at least 9.5m across, which is unknown in the Neolithic.
The largest stones used in this building compare well with standing stones in the Stenness-Brodgar Monument Complex. Where the stones in this strructure reused as standing stones?
