The carving is small an framed by an oval inset. The head is round with forehead cut in a straight line above the eyes and the nose. The eyes are oval and a rectangular nose. The moth is open or shows swollen lips. The chin is flat. The next extends to the clavicle where shoulders appear from behind a raised chest. The arms rest under the waist where the body narrows. The bottom half of the carving has been removed, two small raised areas at the bottom of the oval inset may represent legs but is it difficult to say with the damage.
