I built the red ship that is in Alejandro Burdisio’s ‘Mecanica Cacho’ concept art: (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oOKdvB)
This was more challenging than the last ship I modeled of his. Since I only had the one angle to work with, I had to come up with what the ship looked like from the top, side, back, etc, while making it look cohesive and uniform. It was a fun challenge that I really enjoyed tackling.
Everything is modeled and textured by me. I used Silo to model the high and low poly and uvs, Maya to pull everything together and export, and Substance Painter for the textures/materials.
