It’s in wip stage. Doing for a personal project. Practising skills in the using of texture atlas with Substance Designer. The goal was to apply multiple pbr materials just in to one 2k uv space area with all its maps (basecolor, normal, roughness, metallness). In other words I wanted all polygons in model to share only one pbr material without baking process. I liked this approach due to its flexibility. With this technique you can first do the atlas (composited material), then lay uvs on to this atlas overlapping them to each other, and then if you need you can add more unplanned meshes to the main mesh after all job done and rearrange new uvs on top of olds. This gives you ablility to worry about uvs at the latest stage of work. I’m lazy person and it fits to me most. Planning to produce more buildings and other assets soon in the same style.
