More model informationThis canal bridge dates from the late 18th Century and is made from ashlar. The bridge originally carried the drive from Armley House, Benjamin Gott’s home, to Kirkstall Road and the mills in the valley below. Nowadays, it is used as a shortcut between Armley and Burley, and some parts of the bridge are falling into disrepair. It is included on the list of heritage buildings at risk in West Leeds.
