Stoneware can be considered a resistant mixture with water absorption tending to 0%, but differs from Porcelain because of its composition, not necessarily made with fine natural materials and a little less vitrified because of different firing temperatures. The color of the mixture is hardly white, due to impurities in the clay used for its production, and is normally glazed. However, due to its technical composition, cooking and resistance very similar to porcelain, turns out to be suitable for professional use.
