This is a set of six micropaleontology themed drink coasters. When stacked, the coaster set resembles a geological core sample, or "core", containing fossils ranging from the present day to 1.5 billion years ago (1500 Ma).

The microfossils depicted on this set of drink coasters includes diatoms, coccolithophores (coccoliths), Foraminiferans (forams), dinoflagellates, radiolarians, conodonts, and much more! The geologic age of each layer is indicated on the edge of the coaster.
