Located in Forenaghts Great townland, Naas, Co. Kildare, is the Furness Estate. The Neo-Classical Furness House (c. 1731) sits at the centre of the estate. Directly behind the house on the edge of a ridge sits Furness Church ruin (c. 1200). In 1975, a Neolithic Rock Art boulder was discovered 200 metres south of the church. To the north of the church (520 metres) stands a Bronze Age enclosure with a large standing stone and burial cist at its centre. This collection includes models of the above mentioned monuments (excluding the house) and a possible grave slab now located in the church.
